the room they gave me, a classic double or twin room, felt pretty dated. i think it really needs an update. the shower head sprayed water everywhere but where it should go. also, the breakfast service was pretty bad. it was hard to find a clean table, and when i did, there was never any cutlery. it seemed like the staff wasnt really trying there.

the location has a lovely position on a golf course with beautiful views from the restaurant. staff are very helpful and cheerful. the refurbished rooms are a good size and clean, providing everything i needed. the bathrooms feature lovely fluffy white towels, tissues, and bottled water.

the spa facilities were not all fully functional. i wasn't given robes or foot spa salts, which detracted slightly from the relaxation experience. the tv placement in the bedroom made viewing difficult from certain parts of the bed.

I stayed on sunday. the food was REALLY good!!! the young lady at the spa was kind and helpful. She really made my day. i had a complimentary hand massage, and i found the salt floating pod to be very therapeutic the following morning. i had a comfortable stay.
